WilsonHaus has our small headquarters where we can house up to 4 dogs on site. We have a vision to build our program to someday open a large scale foster and rescue facility. In the interim of building our vision, we are always looking for qualified and dedicated foster homes.
Fostering for WilsonHaus saves lives. Without fosters, we are limited with the scale of which we can carry out our mission, which is saving at-risk dogs in overcrowded shelters from euthanasia.
We are seeking caring, compassionate, detail oriented, committed, prompt people who are eager to be part of the dog's rescue journey.

What does being a foster for WilsonHaus entail? First and foremost - committing to giving your foster pup lots of TLC and a safe place to decompress. WilsonHaus provide all supplies (crate, bed, food, bowls, toys, treats, leash, collar, name tag, etc.) and also takes care of all medical supplies and costs. The foster's role is to provide a safe haven to meet the dog's needs, provide patience and compassion, and steward the dog into the next phase of their rescue journey.
WHAT WE ASK OF OUR
fosters
-
Lots of love, TLC, compassion and patience
-
Partake in our foster education online training session

-
Taking usable content (photos and video clips) so we can network the dog and find them the perfect forever family

LEVEL 1
LEVEL 2
Level 1 dogs are pups who need a soft place to land and have standard needs.

Fosters are committed to providing daily exercise, engagement, light training (simple commands and manners) and of course, lots of patience and TLC.

WHAT IS A
Level 2 is for our dogs who need tons of TLC and require experienced fosters or medical professionals such as vet techs. Level 2 dogs are more than likely medical cases that necessitate a watchful eye and experienced hand. They may be experiencing an acute or chronic medical issue that requires frequent veterinary visits, assessments, check ins, and daily monitoring.

To be a Level 2 FosterHaus, you must be approved to take Level 2 cases.

03 FOSTER
Be a guardian to a dog in need
We have a goal to begin our rescue program in the fall of 2024. We plan to start small and as we pilot our initial foster program, we will expand as is responsible to do so while maintaining our standards of conduct and care. Building a team of willing, able and ready foster homes is crucial to the success of our rescue and to the well-being of the dogs we commit to.
