What his foster mom says about Dinker"
"Dinker may be an older dog, but is still so full of character and spunk. He is hilarious and VERY smart. He knows sit, down, roll over, play dead, and walks great on a leash. A funny quirk about him is always has to have the last word. When shushed for barking at the squirrels, he will stop, but let out one last "woof" very quietly as to say "I'll stop, but only if I can have the last say."
He is snuggly in the evening, but also enjoys spending time in his kennel - which is available to him always. He will do best with someone who will mentally engage him daily - he is SO smart and really craves to exercise his little legs and his mind. I recommend puzzles and snuffle mats as well as several low intensity walks throughout the day."
AN OVERVIEW

CONSIDERATIONS
Dinker is estimated to be about 9 years old, and while still active and engaged, does not need rigorous activity. He would do well with daily walks and mental engagement through training, snuffle mats, or foraging activities.
Dinker has done well with kiddos, no aggression or reactivity, but we do recommend 13+ due to his age. He gets a little overwhelmed with smaller children and does try to scamper off and hide
Dinker would benefit from supplements for his joints as well as a Whole Foods diet. We recommend Just Food for Dogs, which is what he has been receiving.
